雖然 Elon Musk 先後至少四次表示 Twitter 裁員行動已經完結，不過據 The InfoInformation 獲得的消息所指，這家社交平台在過去的週末再有約 50 人被裁，後來 Platformer 的 Zoë Schiffer 更指實際有超過 50 人，涉及包括工程的多個部門都受影響，其中叫人意外的是產品經理 Esther Crawford 居然也在列上。

Crawford 負責主導 Twitter Blue 的改革，以及即將推出的支付平台，是打造 Musk 夢想中 Twitter 2.0 的主要人物，她自己的 Twitter 上更剛剛上分享了被同事拍攝自己在辦公室通宵過夜的相片，顯示對於 Twitter 的盡心盡力。

另一位在最新一波被裁的還有另一名高管，被 Twitter 併購而加入的內容分潤平台 Revue 創辦人 Martijn de Kuijpe 也發推文指自己的公司帳戶已經失效，是說 Revue 在今年年初已經關停了。套用他的說法，被放飛也是早晚的事。

Elon Musk 並沒有回應這波裁員行動，只有發推說「祝你有個愉快的星期天，是你餘下生命的第一天。」所以到底背後的意思是什麼，就由看倌自己解說了。自 Elon Musk 接管以來，Twitter 全職員工數驟減超過 80%，按年的每日收入也減少了 40%。
