雅虎香港新聞 消息稱 Carmelo Anthony、DeMarcus Cousins 與 Isaiah Thomas 皆無意來台打球
「魔獸」Dwight Howard 兩週前正式迎來加盟台灣籃球聯盟 T1 League 桃園雲豹隊的個人首秀，並連續兩場繳出準大三元成績，拿下一勝一敗的成績。除了場內的精彩表現之外，Howard 在場外的一舉一動皆成為媒體注目焦點，如今隨著一名 NBA 級球星的來台，亦有不少球隊紛紛效法尋求如 Carmelo Anthony、DeMarcus Cousins 與 Isaiah Thomas 等人的報價，不料知名記者 Marc Stein 表示以上三人皆無意來台打球。
根據消息指出 Carmelo Anthony、DeMarcus Cousins 與 Isaiah Thomas 無論海外球隊對他們是否感到興趣，三人僅會等待下一個重返 NBA 的機會。先前，T1 League 球隊臺中太陽透露曾經接洽 Isaiah Thomas，不過要價與條件實在難度過高，因此最終選擇放棄，但不會放棄任何持續溝通的機會，將會繼續保持耐心與聯繫。
“While true that Taiwanese clubs have been chasing their signatures, league sources say that a trio of former All-Stars — Carmelo Anthony, DeMarcus Cousins and Isaiah Thomas — have thus far shown zero interest in following Dwight Howard to Taiwan. Sources stress that all three are determined to keep searching for their next NBA opportunity irrespective of any overseas interest.”
