美國聯準會計畫在今夏發佈數位貨幣研討報告

對於推進數位貨幣這件事,美國的表現並不算積極,但現在他們總算向實質行動邁出了一步。早些時候聯準會(Federal Reserve)宣佈計畫在今夏發佈一份數位貨幣研討報告,目的是廣泛聽取意見。

「為了促進廣泛交流,聯準會將在今夏發佈數位貨幣研討報告,對外分享我們目前對於數位支付的想法,內容主要集中在美國央行數位貨幣(CBDC)的潛在益處和風險上。」聯準會主席 Jerome Powell 在一段影片中這麼說道,「在這個過程中,我們會就支付、普惠金融、數據隱私、資訊安全等問題徵詢公眾意見。」

不過 Powell 不忘強調關於數位美元,美國目前還沒有最終定論,但他同時也表示美國想要在數位貨幣國際標準的建立中扮演「領導角色」。
