Apple 硬體總監之位異動，似為新品項作準備？

自 2012 年起在 Apple 統管硬體產品的高級副總裁 Dan Riccio，據 Apple 剛發出的新聞稿表示，將會調離現有職位並轉向負責新的項目，並繼續會直接向 CEO Tim Cook 匯報。不意外地，他們沒有明言導致這異動的新項目的內容，所以我們都只能猜測。

據一直以來的流言所指，Apple 有在開發 AR / VR 相關的產品，近來 Apple Car 也有新消息。當然也有可能是新手機型號和耳機，因為這些都是 Apple 的搖錢樹。題圖所示的，是 Dan Riccio 與已經自立門戶的 Jony Ive 於 WWDC 2019 活動上，一同試玩 iPad 上的 AR 內容。Riccio 在升任硬體副總之前，是領導 iPad 團隊的，而他手下最新的產品就是 AirPods Max 耳機。

Dan Riccio 的新職稱會是工程副總裁，新聞稿中表示他會繼續協助塑造 Apple 未來的新產品。而補上出缺的，是現任 Apple 硬體工程副總裁 John Ternus，他自 2013 年上任，Apple 自家的 M1 晶片就是其功績。
