博物館的有趣之處，在於把不同時代、人事、記憶，集結在同一個空間，讓我們能在短時間內探索不同時空的文化歷史。英國Victoria and Albert Museum（簡稱V&A）被譽為倫敦最美的博物館，在工藝美術、裝置及應用藝術領域為全球博物館權威。其《Bags: Inside Out》展覽自2020年開展後一直廣受讚譽，今年更將首次於海外巡展，亦是太古地產50周年首個慶祝活動，於五個城市的五個商場巡迴展出，免費向公眾開放。 [caption id="attachment_150382" align="aligncenter" width="600"]

英國Victoria and Albert Museum (unsplash)[/caption] 《Bags: Inside Out》展覽將展出超過240件展品，包括16世紀至今的時尚配飾，從小錢包、名牌手袋、功能性背包以至行李箱，並分為三個部分去探索手袋的功能、身份象徵與工藝。

1. 功用與性能

手袋設計雖然五花八門，但最重要的還是存放物品的實用性，無論是擺放隨身物品、化妝品、錢幣以至情信，每個手袋都在細說一個故事。此區展品包括一個來自18世紀中國的絲綢刺繡腰袋、產自1910年法國的觀賞歌劇用手袋，以及《亂世佳人》女星Vivien Leigh的公事包。 [caption id="attachment_150384" align="aligncenter" width="413"]

2. 地位與身份

手袋在文化中具重要地位，也是人們表現個人品味和理念的工具之一。以往不少名牌的經典設計都跟名人明星相關，例如以摩納哥王妃Grace Kelly命名的Hermès Kelly手袋、以英國戴安娜王妃命名的Lady Dior手袋等。此展區將探討明星效應和始於2000年代前後的It bag現象及其強大影響力。 [caption id="attachment_150383" align="aligncenter" width="265"]

3. 設計與製作

此區展現一個手袋從草稿到樣版，以至縫製和售賣的過程。展品包括手袋原型、設計手稿及故事板，讓觀眾一窺各頂級品牌背後的精工細藝和獨特匠心，另包括一些顛覆傳統、天馬行空的設計，展示設計師和藝術家的奇思妙想。 [caption id="attachment_150386" align="aligncenter" width="267"]
