對近來人工智慧發展頗有微詞的 Elon Musk 似乎打算親自參與來謀求一些改變了。據華爾街日報和金融時報報導，Musk 已於上月在美國內華達州成立了一家名為 X.AI Corp. 的新公司。他本人是該企業目前唯一的董事，負責 Musk 家族辦公室的得力助手 Jared Birchall 則擔任秘書。X.AI Corp. 的具體業務目前尚未公佈，但想來它可能會跟 OpenAI 形成競爭。後者最初也是由 Musk 聯合創立，但其代表產品 ChatGPT 的發展路線顯然已經脫離了 Musk 最初的預想。

值得一提的是，Musk 最近一直在 AI 領域招兵買馬。先是有消息稱 Twitter 成功招攬了數名前 DeepMind 研究員，後來又傳出了 Musk 已購入一萬組 GPU 的新聞。這些舉動是否也跟 X.AI Corp. 的成立有關？問題的答案令人非常好奇呢。
