市場上其中一個最具影響力的串流平台 Netflix，他們的共同創辦人兼共同 CEO Reed Hastings 有著多個傳奇故事，但在 2023 年新伊始就宣佈退任的決定。營運端的 Greg Peters 會升任，與 2020 年 7 月上任的 Ted Sarandos 一起擔任共同 CEO。Hastings 會仍然留在公司裡，以執行主席的身份為新高管和董事會進行協調。

是說，Netflix 的高管迭替是籌備已久的，過去兩年半 Sarandos 和 Peters 都已經逐漸增加掌權的範圍，就差 Hastings 正式退任的時機。Sarandos 是負責為 Netflix 增加原創內容；Peters 則是商談合作夥伴和推動遊戲業務的代表。Netflix 在 Hastings 任內登上高峰、也跌落谷底，就在訂閱人數開始回到升勢的時候選擇交出帥印，感覺也是一個對股東的交代。

Netflix 剛剛也發出了 2022 年第 4 季的財報，顯示他們過去三個月增加了 766 萬訂閱，總數達到 2.3 億，純利 5,500 萬美元，較 2022 年年初有著明顯改善，同時也對 7 美元的帶廣告計劃成效感到滿意。對於 2023 年的發展，Netflix 預計訂閱人數會平穩增長，同時會擴展帳戶共享收費的功能到更多地區。
